Flying and shipping dogs: documents, flight boxes and risk control

Most airlines restrict the carriage of short-nosed dog breeds as checked luggage.
In terms of documents, domestic air consignments usually require animal quarantine certificates and vaccine records, and some airlines require these to be submitted 48 hours in advance. Carrying it abroad also requires a rabies antibody test report and a permit from the country of entry.
Requirements for the flight box: It complies with IATA standards. Dogs can only stand up, turn around and lie down in the box. The door is made of metal and has fixed devices. Contact information and destination information are posted on the outside of the box.
Risk control points: avoid flights in the afternoon in summer and early morning in winter; stop feeding four hours before departure but ensure drinking water; do not put collars and water bowls in the box (to avoid entanglement and drowning), but you can put an old piece of clothing with the owner's smell.
Due to respiratory structural problems, many airlines have explicitly restricted or refused to transport short-nosed dog breeds (French Bulldog, Pug, Bull Bull, Shih Tzu). You must confirm the policies of each airline before traveling.
