Homemade Treats for Pets: Three Safe Home Recipes

Chicken breast jerky, pumpkin pie, frozen banana yogurt cubes.
First, chicken breast jerky: Cut the chicken breast into strips and dry it at a low temperature of 70 degrees for six to eight hours until it is completely dry and hard. The finished product can be kept refrigerated for two weeks. Be careful not to use seasonings. Salt, garlic, and onions are all toxic to dogs and cats.
Second, pumpkin pie: Add cooked pumpkin puree to oat flour and an egg, knead it into small pieces and bake it. Pumpkin is rich in fiber, which can help with mild soft stools, but the daily feeding amount should not exceed 10% of the total calories.
Third, frozen banana yogurt cubes: Add sugar-free yogurt to banana puree, pour it into an ice tray and freeze it. Suitable for cooling down in summer, pets with lactose intolerance should reduce the dosage.
Homemade snacks are positioned as supplements and cannot replace staple foods. Observe bowel movements for 48 hours after the introduction of any formula and discontinue use immediately if soft stools occur.
