The whole process of dog bathing: ten minutes from preparation to drying

The water temperature is 38 degrees, starting from the back.
Preparation: Trim nails in advance, comb out floating hair, and prepare two absorbent towels and dog shampoo. Control the water temperature at about 38 degrees. Use the inside of your wrist to test the temperature, which is more accurate than the back of your hand.
Sequence: Start getting wet from the back, avoiding the eyes and ears, and plug the ear canals with cotton balls. Dilute the shampoo before applying it, rub it in for three to five minutes and rinse thoroughly. Shampoo residue is a common cause of itchy skin.
Blow drying is a crucial step. First press dry with a towel, then use a low-temperature hair dryer to blow thoroughly area by area from back to abdomen, from hind legs to armpits. The armpits, groin, and between toes are most likely to retain moisture and are also areas with high incidence of skin diseases.
Use treats throughout the process to create a positive association. Start practicing this when you are a puppy. Bathing will be much easier as an adult.
