Dog barking management: Classify first, then correct

Wariness, boredom, excitement, fear are all handled in completely different ways.
Warning barking: Triggered by the doorbell or knocking on the door, manifested as short and continuous barking. The way to deal with it is to first let it wait in a fixed position (mat training), and establish a new conditioned reflex of "ringing the bell" and "going to the mat".
Boredom barking: Occurs after being alone for long periods of time, usually accompanied by pacing and destructive behavior. The core is to complement exercise and educational toys, not to curb barking itself.
Excited barking: screaming barking when seeing people or dogs, which is excessive arousal. The focus of training is to reduce the arousal level and re-establish the reaction chain in the way of "seeing the stimulus = turning to look at the owner = snack".
Fearful barking: body receding, ears pressed back, accompanied by growling. This type of behavior must not be scolded, and requires systematic desensitization, and seeking help from a behavioral doctor if necessary. Misjudgment of type is the most common reason for bark training failure.
